Trevor Noah, the Emmy Award-winning host of “The Daily Show,” has just spent a whopping $27.5 million on a Bel Air mansion that is both comfortable and Architecturally beautiful.
Bel Air is an area where most of Los Angeles’ biggest-spending and biggest-name are buying luxury homes.
Located in the hills of Bel-Air overlooking the enclave’s upmarket country club, the right-angled luxury home is described as an “iconic architectural statement” in its listing, which is held by Linda May and Drew Fenton of Hilton & Hyland.
The South African comedian, Noah, 36, bought the home last week using a trust, property records show. Though Linda May and Drew Fenton of Hilton & Hyland reps didn’t release details for the transaction.
The mansion was designed by Mark Rios, a fellow of the American Institute of Architects. It’s a six-bedroom luxury home that depicts the Los Angeles’ hallmark of indoor/outdoor living, according to the market listing.
The building is fitted with modern building material like stone, wood, bronze and glass, with floor-to-ceiling glass doors and windows to send it adequate light to the living room and allows you see a glimpse across the city and the ocean. It also has a chef’s kitchen, an office and a gym.
The property comes with a wine cellar, a spa, a screening room, a rooftop terrace, an outdoor bar and an infinity pool for all-time pleasure.
At first, the property was listed for $36 million in 2018, and later it was reduced, before finally ending up, most recently, at $29.5 million for which Trevor Noah bought it.
