Kim Kardashian has slammed reports projecting that she contracted COVID-19 from her controversial birthday party following Thursday night’s episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”
After the trip, we read a report by BuzzFeed News that shows a timeline that seems to be pointing to the fact that Kim contracted the coronavirus after her birthday bash, but now the reality TV star has debunked the report.
Kim tweeted, “False. Nobody caught Covid from the trip. Saint was the first to have it in our family and he caught it from school from another student who tested positive first. I then developed symptoms and got it a few days after he coughed on me while caring for him.”
Kim also debates about re-sitting for the baby bar exam, scheduled for November when Saint contracts the virus. Kim’s daughter North West was also ill, and the reality TV star revealed that they were due to be tested soon.
Kim and her Kardashian sisters were attacked online after the trip and the “KKW” founder subsequently tone-deaf posts about it.
Kim took it to Twitter at the time, writing, “After 2 weeks of multiple health screens and asking everyone to quarantine, I surprised my closest inner circle with a trip to a private island where we could pretend things were normal just for a brief moment in time.
“We danced, rode bikes, swam near whales, kayaked, watched a movie on the beach and so much more. I realize that for most people, this is something that is so far out of reach right now, so in moments like these, I am humbly reminded of how privileged my life is. #thisis40”
Twitter users went ahead to fire hard at her not minding that she recognized her privileges and noted that they took health precautions to avoid the spread of COVID.

One angry user of the platform commented, “I haven’t seen ma family in 4 months because I work a public-facing job and I’m absolutely terrified of the possibility of passing Covid on to my vulnerable parents. I hope you had fun pretending things were normal, but spare a thought for those of us staying in the real world.”
Another user who felt the full weight of the pandemic wrote, “lmao reading this as half of my office got laid off today.”
