Zoë Kravitz believes that those who have it should flaunt it, as she did on the Met Gala 2021 red carpet.
The 32-year-old actress from “High Fidelity” made a statement on the Met Gala 2021 red carpet on Monday, wearing a completely sheer metal mesh Saint Laurent gown with a matching thong underneath.
While flashing derrières was a trend at the America-themed event, with Taraji P. Henson, Teyana Taylor, and others joining Kravitz in revealing looks, some fans expressed their displeasure with strong words.
One user wrote, “Where’s the dress?” with another writing, “I don’t get why women feel it’s ok to walk around naked … take some damn pride in yourself.”
Another user released the bomb, “I don’t understand why they go practically naked. She’s gorgeous. Why does she feel the need to wear a dress like this??”
Zoë Kravitz quickly weighed in to respond to the latter, according to the screenshot wizards at Comments by Celebs. “Being uncomfortable with the human body is colonization / brainwashing. It’s just a body. We all got em,” she typed.
Though fans were pissed by the star’s look, her boyfriend Channing Tatum, who walked the Met’s steps for the first time without his girlfriend but reunited with her inside and at the afterparties appears to be comfortable with it.
