Meghan Markle’s father, Thomas Markle has stated that he may sue the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in order to see his grandchildren if he chooses to follow legal advice given to him by some lawyers in California.
The estranged father, who has yet to meet face-to-face with his grandchildren Archie, 2, and Lilibet who is some months old, described Meghan Markle’s decision to cut him off as “childish.”

Thomas revealed that “several lawyers” in California have told him that if he goes to court, he has a good chance of winning. However, he insisted today that he would wait before taking drastic measures.
While speaking on “Good Morning Britain,” Thomas Markle, 77, noted, “I’d love to see my grandchildren. People have suggested in California I could sue to see my grandkids. But I think if I did that I’d be doing the same thing Meghan and Harry are doing.”
He went on to explain that… “I don’t want to include my grandchildren in this situation, I want to see my grandchildren with friendly parents and friendship all around. I don’t want hostile parents when seeing my grandchildren. So I’ll wait.”
Thomas Markle, who frequently criticizes his daughter Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry in the media, hasn’t seen his daughter since her wedding to the British Prince in 2018.
Despite the fact that he hasn’t heard “a word” from the couple in years, he remains hopeful that they can mend fences for the sake of the little children.
Mr Markle told Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid, “Eventually she’ll start talking to me. This is way too childish, this is kind of silly. It’s time to talk with each other, we’re family. The kids are going to grow up without knowing they have two families.
“This is more than just me and my daughter now, this is me, my daughter, her husband and two babies. So it’s time to do something. To talk.”
Thomas Markle also went on to blame Prince Harry for his failed relationship with Meghan Markle, claiming that things deteriorated after she “hooked up” with the Duke, calling Prince Harry “shameful” for “abandoning” the Queen, the Army, and the British people.
“I think Harry has abandoned the Queen, his grandmother, the royal family, the British people and the Army. He’s abandoned them all. All he does now is ride a bicycle around the neighbourhood… I don’t know if it’s much of a life for him either. It doesn’t make sense,” he slammed.
The Duchess of Sussex has distanced herself from her father’s side of the family, who has repeatedly slammed her in the media. Samantha, her sister, once called her a “social climber” who is “unfit to be a royal.”

While, Meghan’s brother Thomas Jr. is contesting in Australia’s “Celebrity Big Brother,” despite previously labelling her a “phoney,” a “bully,” and a “jaded, shallow, conceited woman.”
According to Thomas, his relationship with Meghan’s half-siblings was one of the reasons for their breakup, he said, “She thought I was giving too much attention to her brother and sister. She wanted me to stop talking to them and I couldn’t.”
