While the purpose of the 29-year-old actress’s rare social media appearance was to promote her watch party for the season finale of “Only Murders in the Building” on Tuesday, fans seemed more interested in her haircut.

“YOU LOOK SO GOOD WITH SHORT HAIR SELENA,” one user exclaimed, while another added, “Damn u can rock any hairstyle.”
Many people compared Gomez’s centre-parted hairstyle to that of her “Wizards of Waverly Place” character, Alex Russo, on the Disney show, while others compared it to her 2017 Met Gala look.
Over the years, Selena Gomez has experimented with various hairstyles, including bobs, bangs, and even a buzzed undercut. She recently went platinum blond for the summer, telling Vogue that she “had the best time” with lighter hair.
“I think I’m definitely more of a character when I’m blond. I felt like I could do crazy things with my hair or try new looks with my makeup. It was just so much fun … I felt so cool and edgy,” she said.
