On Saturday, Ricki Lake, 52, a talk show host announced her engagement to boyfriend Ross Burningham, sharing the exciting news with her fans on her official Instagram account.
Lake wrote, “Friends, I’m so so so excited to share some good news! I’m engaged! This is Ross. He is my person. He is wonderful.”

Speaking in a recent interview with People, Lake opened open on their relationship saying she and Burningham, who have been dating for over a year, “literally pinch ourselves that we have found each other at this time in our lives.”
“Both of us, newly empty-nesters, we feel as if we are kids again. We are filled with gratitude and joy for what is to come,” Lake added while talking to People.

Lake was previously married to Rob Sussman, with whom she has two sons, from 1994 to 2004. She was later married to Christian Evans from 2012 to 2015. Evans died by suicide in 2017 following a long battle with bipolar disorder.
Over the weekend, Lake told fans that she is looking forward to the next chapter with Burningham.
“Our next chapter is sure to be a good one,” Lake added on Instagram, along with the hashtags “heart open,” “life is beautiful,” and “I believe in love.”
