Nicki Minaj said she became a “mother for the first time” last month as she confirmed giving birth to a bouncing baby boy. The rapper who said she’s madly in love with her son delivered last month but didn’t immediately disclose the gender of her baby.
Nicki thanked some of her famous celebrity friends who sent in messages and congratulated her, the like of Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian West and fashion designer Riccardo Tisci.
Nicki Minaj and her husband Kenneth Petty got married in 2019 and she announced her pregnancy in July.
The new mom wrote on Instagram, “Thank you to Queen B, Kim & Ye, Riccardo Tisci, Winnie, Karol & everyone who sent well wishes during this time.
“It meant the world to me. I am so grateful & in love with my son. Madly in love. My favourite liddo boy in the whole wide world.”
The handwritten note from Beyoncé read, “Onika, Welcome to motherhood. God bless you and your family. B.”
Kim Kardashian West and husband Kanye West wrote, “Congrats! We love you! Kim + Kanye.”
Canadian model Winnie Harlow also sent in congrats to Nicki.
