While Megan Fox made it appear that she and Machine Gun Kelly got engaged under a beautiful banyan tree in the middle of nature, the “Bloody Valentine” rocker actually proposed outside of the Spa Botánico at the Ritz-Carlton Dorado Beach in Puerto Rico, SurgeZirc France can confirm.
Although it’s currently unclear whether the celebrity couple drank each other’s blood before or after any spa treatments they may have received, or perhaps that was part of the package, we can not confirm that immediately.
Suites at the opulent hotel start at $2,300 per night in January, though the cheapest option is nearly sold out, according to the business website that was consulted.
Machine Gun Kelly, 31, whose real name is Colson Baker, proposed to his girlfriend Megan Fox on Jan. 11 after dating for more than a year and a half, the couple had announced on Wednesday.
“Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma. Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him,” Megan, 35, wrote following the filmed proposal she shared.
“And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes …and then we drank each other’s blood,” Megan added.
MGK collaborated with jeweler Stephen Webster to create a “toi et moi”-style engagement ring with the twin flames’ birthstones: a diamond for him and an emerald for his bride-to-be.
Kelly wrote on Instagram that the two pear-shaped stones are set “on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love.”
Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly first met on the set of “Midnight in the Switchgrass” in March 2020. They made their relationship Instagram-official in July 2020 and have been inseparable ever since.
They also appear inseparable on their trip to Costa Rica where they did ayahuasca “in the middle of the jungle” while leaving out to fans that they ended the trip with a stay at the exclusive Four Seasons.
