Lil Wayne celebrated his 39th birthday by dancing to his music and that of Drake’s at a private party.

Drake, the rapper’s close friend, hosted a private bash at Miami hotspot Swan, where the DJs played music by both rappers only. According to a source, DJs played “Drake and Lil Wayne songs the entire night.”

“Drake was vibing along to his music and taking Don Julio 1942 shots all night with his friends and lots of girls,” the source said while adding that there was a line of women outside trying to get into the private party.

“They bought out the whole restaurant and had a line of people trying to get into the exclusive event all the way around the block of [the] Miami Design District. There were tons of girls inside the party. The ratio was at least eight girls to every guy,” the source added.

The source hinted that the guest list consisted entirely of OVO and Wayne’s camp friends, “but the word must have gotten out because so many girls showed up wanting to get in.”

The celebrations appeared to be centred on the “How To Love” artist’s favourite things, such as skate park ramps – where Weezy was seen posing for photos – as well as swag such as customized bandanas that read “Tunechi” and “Weezy,” and Green Bay Packers fitted caps that paid homage to Wayne’s favourite NFL team.
