Kim Kardashian Says Kanye West Thought Her Not To Mind People’s Opinion About Her

Kim Kardashian attributes her lack of concern for what others think of her to Kanye West.

The 40-year-old former “Skims” boss admitted on the “We are supported by…” podcast that when she first began filming her E! reality show series in 2007, she was very much concerned about how she was perceived by people out there.

That changed around the time she started dating West, 44, in 2012.

“I got to a point, and maybe it was being in a relationship with Kanye for a decade, someone that absolutely didn’t care about likeability factor or what any of perception of him was as long as he was true to himself that taught me so much in the best way of just being me and living in the moment,” Kim told her hosts.

“You don’t have to please everyone as long as I’m myself and as long as I’m doing it the way that I want to do … like you have one life and you’re living it for you,” Kim told her listeners.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West filed for divorce after seven years of marriage, according to SurgeZirc FR earlier this year. A month later, she filed for divorce. They have since then maintained a united front in public.

Recently, Kim attended Kanye’s listening event for his new album, “Donda,” with their kids, and she also attended a second event for the “Jesus Walks” rapper last week, and even wore matching outfits.

Though a source close to the celebrity couple in July, said, “They are getting along great, and it was their first public outing together as a family, reconfirming that they are in lockstep when it comes to co-parenting and putting their kids first.”
