Kim Kardashian is unapologetic about prioritizing her own happiness in the midst of her divorce from the father of her children Kanye West.
“For so long, I did what made other people happy. And I think in the last two years I decided I’m going to make myself happy. And that feels really good,” the reality TV star told Vogue for her March 2022 cover story.

“Even if that created changes and caused my divorce, I think it’s important to be honest with yourself about what really makes you happy. I’ve chosen myself. I think it’s OK to choose you,” she continued.
Kim Kardashian stated that she is “Team Me” and wants to focus on her own needs now that she is in her forties.
“I’m going to eat well. I’m going to work out. I’m going to have more fun, spend more time with my kids and the people who make me happy. I’m going to put my phone down. Unfollow if I don’t want to see something on Instagram,” she told the mag.
Kim Kardashian also stated that she has sought advice from her younger sister Khloé Kardashian on how to avoid haters.
“Khloé came up with the best phrase for that yesterday. She said, ‘Post and ghost,’” the SKIMS founder said.
Kim also stated that she relies on her close friends for assistance when times are tough. She has two main group chats, “lifers,” which are friends she’s known since preschool, and “bat chat,” which are friends she’s made as she’s grown up.
Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from the 44-year-old rapper “Off the Grid” in February 2021, after seven years of marriage and four children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.
Kanye West has gone on several rants about the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star since their divorce, accusing her of keeping him away from their children.
Recently, Kim Kardashian was forced to issue a statement in which she accused Kanye of being obsessed with attacking her during their divorce.
Kanye West later removed all content featuring Kim and their children from his Instagram feed.
Despite this, the reality star hopes to cultivate a mature co-parenting relationship, telling Vogue, “You could be so hurt or angry at your ex, but I think in front of the kids, it always has to be ‘Your dad’s the best.'” No matter what you’re going through, make sure you’re your co-biggest parent’s cheerleader.”
Kim split from Kanye West last fall and began dating “Saturday Night Live” comedian Pete Davidson, while Ye has been dating “Uncut Gems” star Julia Fox since New Year’s.
