Shanna Moakler said she separated from her ex-husband Travis Barker because he cheated on her with reality TV star Kim Kardashian, but the claim is yet to be proven beyond doubt as a source has said it’s not true, according to Page Six.

The source on Monday said, “Travis and Kim have never had a romantic relationship. They were friends who met through Paris Hilton and that is also how Kourtney and Travis were introduced.”
Shanna and Travis’s daughter, Alabama, recently took to her Instagram Story to blast her mom, saying Shanna was never completely in her life and was not an amazing Mom, as she also shared a screenshot of a direct message purportedly written by Shanna.
“I divorced Travis because I caught him having an affair with Kim! Now he’s in love with her sister…It’s all gross…I’m not the bad guy!”
Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian began dating earlier this year. And Shanna has since shown restlessness so much that she at a point called the pair’s PDA “weird.”
However, a source has criticised Shanna Moakler for involving Kim Kardashian into the matter, stating that she’s spreading lies.
“It’s a shame that she continues to spread lies, which are not based in truth, and because it’s extremely hurtful to her kids. Hopefully, she gets the help that she needs and can eventually find happiness,” the source said.
Shanna Moakler and Travis Barker got married in 2004, and went separate ways in 2006 and wrapped up their divorce in 2008. They have a daughter Alabama, 15 and a son Landon, 17.
After the Blink-182 drummer and Kourtney, 42, started dating, comments he made about Kim in a 2015 Us Weekly interview resurfaced online. Then Travis told the outlet that he met Kim through Hilton, and admitted that he thought Kim was “eye candy.”
“How could you not stare at Kim? Mind you, I enjoyed hanging out with Paris, but I love curvy girls. I was no way disrespectful to Paris, but I couldn’t keep my eyes off Kim!” He said. A source said Travis was joking when he made the remarks.

The source said, “Anyone who is close to them has always known that Travis has been in love with Kourtney for forever, not Kim. They are madly in love and best of friends. Everyone in their circle couldn’t be happier for them.”
The same source confirmed that Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian have over 15 years of friendship and are extremely happy together while noting that “There is nothing weird or any drama here.”
