On Monday, former “Bachelor” host, Chris Harrison announced his engagement to Lauren Zima via his official Instagram account for his followers to take note of.
Chris Harrison, 50, announced the news with a sweet photo from the proposal, which took place at Brand Vineyard in Napa Valley, California.
“I love you @laurenzima,” Chris Harrison engaged his woman with a diamond ring from McClave Jewelers – captioned a series of photos he released, “The next chapter starts now!”

Lauren Zima, 33, also posted photos from the event to her Instagram account, along with a heartfelt tribute to Harrison.
“We tell each other this all the time, and we said it again in an unforgettably beautiful moment this weekend: I didn’t know love could be like this,” the “Entertainment Tonight” correspondent said.
She continued, “You are the most incredible partner. Thank you for loving me, championing me and asking me to marry you. Here’s to the next amazing chapter, and all the rest .”
Chris Harrison and Lauren Zima have been dating for over two years after meeting through various “Bachelor” franchise interviews.
Speaking to People about his relationship, Chris Harrison said, “It’s been easy and I think that’s how it all starts. We started dating and, like any relationship, she made me happy. She was kind, nice, we got along, she blended in great with my friends, and just all those steps in the relationship where you start checking those boxes off and it gets better and better and better.”
Chris Harrison left the “Bachelor” franchise after receiving backlash for excusing Rachael Kirkconnell’s past racist behaviour. Zima piled on and expressed her dismay at the time.

“What Chris said was wrong and disappointing,” she said in an Instagram Story statement. “It is impossible to defend racism. “Accountability comes first, followed by learning and growth.”
Jesse Palmer eventually took over as the new host of “The Bachelor.” Both Zima and Harrison will be married for the second time. The former “Bachelor” host has two children with his ex-wife, Joshua and Taylor Harrison.
