Britney Spears is “doing great,” according to Sam Asghari, since being released from conservatorship.
The actor attended the premiere of “House of Gucci” in Los Angeles on Thursday without Spears, but he and the “Toxic” singer are enjoying the excitement of their new lives.
“She’s doing great, I’m great. This is the happiest time of our lives. We’re just enjoying it,” a beaming Asghari told “Entertainment Tonight.”
Sam Asghari, 27, also said that his and Spears’ wedding will happen “sooner or later,” but the pop star, 39, is in charge of logistics.
He shared, “It’s up to her. She’s wearing the pants now!”
“I want the biggest wedding in the world!” He admitted.
With Spears in control of her life, Asghari said he’s optimistic about their future together.
“From here on out, it’s amazing. It’s heaven,” he gushed.
After nearly five years of dating, the “Sometimes” singer and the personal trainer got engaged in September. The couple is free to proceed with their wedding plans now that Spears’ father, Jamie Spears, is no longer in charge as her conservator.
Britney Spears took to Instagram soon after the ruling to say it was the “best day ever.”
“Good God I love my fans so much it’s crazy !!! I think I’m gonna cry the rest of the day !!!!” the pop icon wrote — adding the new hashtag “#FreedBritney.”
While she is focused on her future with Asghari, Spears has stated that she plans to become an advocate “for people with real disabilities and real illnesses.”
“I’m a very strong woman so I can only imagine what the system has done to those people. so hopefully my story will make an impact and make some changes in the corrupt system,” she continued.
