Brad Raffensperger Georgia’s Secretary of State has recertified his state’s presidential election results on Monday, after a second recount as demanded by President Trump campaign.
The second certification also projected Joe Biden the winner of the 2020 presidential election in the state.
Brad Raffensperger is a Republican and also a supposed supporter of President Donald Trump. He also slammed criticism from Trump, telling newsmen that “disinformation regarding election administration should be condemned and rejected. Integrity matters. Truth matters.”
“Today is an important day for election integrity in Georgia and across the country. Georgians can now move forward knowing that their votes, and only their legal votes, were counted accurately, fairly, and reliably,” Raffensperger said.
There hasn’t been any public statement from President Trump campaign regarding the recertification as yet.
