Former President Barack Obama in a new video urged his supporters to turn out for his former Vice President Joe Biden in an election he described as a “tipping point.”
While speaking on the video, Obama said he was encouraged by a growing movement for justice and progress on a number of issues facing the American people, “This is really a tipping point. And that momentum only continues if we win this election.”

Emphasizing the importance of heading out to vote, the former leader added that in such a polarized political climate, voting matters more than ever.
Obama said, “Participate and vote. It’s not always pretty. Trust me, I know. But it’s how, bit by bit, we’ve made progress over the generations. And it’s how your generation is going to change the game entirely.”
Obama will headline a drive-in rally for Joe Biden in Philadelphia later this week, and it will be his first appearance for his former vice president since the start of the 2020 presidential campaign.
