Ariana Grande still remembers… and will never forget the twenty-two people who unfortunately got killed and more than 500 wounded at her 2017 concert in Manchester, England.
On its 4th anniversary, Ariana shared a touching tribute on social media to reaffirm her love for those who were affected by the ugly incident.
The singer wrote on her Instagram story, “Although grief is ever present and our relationship to it is constantly evolving and expressing itself in different ways every day, year round. I know that this anniversary will never be an easy one. Please know that I am thinking of you today.”
“Manchester, my heart is with you today and always,” Ariana wrapped up her tribute before listing the names of the victims.
The bombing attack happened on May 22, 2017, while Ariana Grande was holding a concert at the Manchester Arena when a suicide bomber detonated an explosive device inside the lobby at the end of the show.
After the attack, the singer suspended her tour and took a two-week break before coming back to Manchester for a star-studded benefit concert that generated $13 million for the victims and survivors of the attack.
Thoughtful Ariana Grande put together and perform at the concert while bringing lots of world-class stars to perform alongside her. The likes of Mac Miller, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber and more performed.
While on the tour break, the 22-year-old Ariana flew back to Manchester to visit the hospital where the victims of the attack were receiving treatment.
