Jennifer Lopez quickly moved on with her ex Ben Affleck after breaking up with Alex Rodriguez … a move several reports claimed was hurting A-Rod badly, but a source has clarified that he’s fine.

“Alex is doing fine. He’s been spending time with his family and concentrating on the Timberwolves deal. He’s concentrating on his kids and the team. That’s it,” the source said of the former MLB star.
Meanwhile, Us Weekly quoted an insider on Friday as saying Alex, 45, is “in a world of pain” over the split while adding that, “It’s the first time anyone can remember him being dumped like this, at least publicly.”
Alex and Jennifer, 52, in April, confirmed their relationship was as good as over and claimed they’re better off as friends. A week after the announcement, A-Rod and J.Lo went out on dinner. A few days later, the “Love Don’t Cost A Thing” singer started hanging out with her former fiancé, Ben Affleck, 48.
The source who spoke to Us Weekly added, “Seeing her running straight back to Ben’s arms is a real kick in the teeth. There’s a part of him that still clings onto the hope that they’ll wind up together again but deep down he’s had to accept the harsh truth that she’s over him and moving on with Ben.”
The statement is one among several other reports that said Alex wasn’t expecting that Jennifer could quickly run to Ben for a reunion. Though people who know J.Lo and Ben very well said they aen’t shocked at what they did.
A source said, “She was always obsessed with Ben They have always loved each other.”

Ben and Jennifer recently spent a weekend together in Montana, and when Alex had to comment on a question about it, he said, “Go Yankees.” It was believed that he was referring to Ben who’s a fan of the Red Sox.
