Former President Trump delivered a passionate message to his supporters at a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday, expressing his belief that the recent attack on Israel by Iran should not have occurred.
In his opening remarks, Trump emphasized his support for the people of Israel and criticized what he viewed as a display of weakness from the current administration.
“Before going any further, I want to say God bless the people of Israel. They’re under attack right now. That’s because we show great weakness,” Trump stated.

“The weakness that we’ve shown is unbelievable, and it would not have happened if we were in office. You know that. They know that, and everybody knows that.”

“This is an attack that wouldn’t have happened. I mean, to think about what you have to go through,” Trump remarked. “Ukraine would have never happened. Israel being attacked both on October 7th and today would have never happened.”
Trump’s sentiments were echoed by other Republican politicians who expressed their concerns about the Biden administration’s handling of the situation and its impact on Israel. House Speaker Mike Johnson emphasized the importance of standing with Israel during this challenging time.
“As Israel faces this vicious attack from Iran, America must show our full resolve to stand with our critical ally. The world must be assured: Israel is not alone,” Johnson wrote.
Representative Nancy Mace also called on President Biden to take a firm stance in support of Israel and criticized his approach to Iran and the Middle East.
“Iran’s drone strikes show us President Biden’s approach with Iran and the Middle East is backwards,” Mace stated. “Now, as we risk entering World War III, the U.S. must stand by Israel’s commitment to democracy. The President must stand firm and stop coddling Iran immediately.”
President Biden, when asked about the potential for further attacks on Israel by Tehran, reaffirmed the United States’ commitment to defending and supporting Israel.
“We are devoted to the defence of Israel,” Biden stated. “We will support Israel. We will defend, help defend Israel, and Iran will not succeed.”
However, when pressed for further details or a more elaborate message to Tehran, Biden simply responded with a concise “don’t” before walking away.
