After recovering from COVID-19, Queen Elizabeth made her first in-person appearance on Monday when she meets with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
The British monarch was snapped shaking hands with the 50-year-old Prime Minister at her Windsor Castle residence in England. The Queen, 95, appeared to be in good health and had a big smile on her face.

Queen Elizabeth II and Justin Trudeau exchanged greetings in a room with a red carpet. Behind them was a floral arrangement of blue and yellow flowers which was seen standing by the side.
The flowers’ colours matched those of Ukraine, where Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered Russian military forces to invade the young democratic country. It’s also possible that the Queen and Trudeau were meeting to discuss the conflict in Ukraine.
This appearance marked the Queen’s first royal engagement in person since her positive COVID test. On March 1, she took part in virtual meetings with Carles Jordana Madero of Andorra and Kedella Younous Hamidi of Chad.
The Royal Family shared a photo of the Queen calling in to greet officials at Buckingham Palace, and she appeared to be cheerful on her computer monitor from what was visible to everyone.

When the Queen tested positive for COVID-19 on February 20, she had been fully vaccinated and had received a booster shot. Two days later, the Queen was said to have died, according to a now-deleted report from Hollywood Unlocked.
Buckingham Palace later confirmed the Queen’s survival, and the monarch spoke with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson from Windsor Castle.
As you may know, the Queen has made history on February 6 as the first British monarch to mark a Platinum Jubilee for being on the throne for 70 years.
