Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have welcomed their second child, a baby girl named Lilibet Diana.
Harry and Meghan announced the arrival of their daughter, Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor … and paid tribute with her name to both Queen Elizabeth II and the late Princess Diana, as Lilibet is the Queen’s family nickname.

“On June 4th, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili. She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we’ve felt from across the globe.
“Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family,” the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced in a statement on Sunday.
The baby was born on Friday at 11:40 a.m. “in the trusted care of the doctors and staff at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, California,” according to the press secretary for the famous royal couple. The baby weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces.
Mother and the baby “are healthy and well, and settling in at home,” the statement said.
The baby’s name … “Lili is named after her great-grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen, whose family nickname is Lilibet. Her middle name, Diana, was chosen to honour her beloved late grandmother, The Princess of Wales,” according to the update provided by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
