Kanye “Ye” West has stated that he will not give up his pursuit of his estranged wife, Kim Kardashian, anytime soon.
Despite her filing for divorce and moving on with Pete Davidson, the rapper, 44, shamelessly posted an old black-and-white photo of him kissing Kardashian, 41, on his Instagram Story on Friday morning.
West also shared a screenshot of a TMZ story with the headline, “Kanye West Says God Will Reunite Him and Kim, Inspire Millions.” He tagged Kardashian as well as the website.
The billionaire’s latest declaration of love follows his Thanksgiving Eve visit to Skid Row, where he rants about how God wants him and Kardashian to remarry after seven years of marriage and four children: North, 8, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 2.
“The narrative God wants is to see that we can be redeemed in all these relationships. We’ve made mistakes. I’ve made mistakes. I’ve publicly done things that were not acceptable as a husband, but right now today, for whatever reason, I didn’t know I was going to be in front of this mic, but I’m here to change the narrative,” he said.
Kanye also addressed his relationship with his kids saying, “I have to be next to my children as much as possible. So, when I’m out the house, I’ve got a house right next to the house. I’m doing everything to be right next to the situation.”
The “Donda” creator ended his speech by saying, “I’m trying to express this in the most sane way, the most calm way possible, but I need to be back home.”
Kim Kardashian, on the other hand, appears to be putting their marriage behind them.
The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum has been spending a lot of time with Davidson, whom TSZ confirmed she is dating.
Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson, 28, were recently seen having dinner together in Santa Monica, Calif., where photographers caught the “Saturday Night Live” comedian with a hickey on the left side of his neck directly below his ear.
Pete Davidson previously dated actresses such as Kaia Gerber, Kate Beckinsale, and Phoebe Dynevor and was previously engaged to Ariana Grande.
