Jennifer Lawrence waded into a sticky situation during the filming of “Don’t Look Up,” as the 31-year-old actress dressed up as astronomer Kate Dibiasky, complete with double nose rings and an auburn wig.
While the fake jewellery helped her embrace the role, it also caused a few on-set hiccups.

“In part of my research for the film, I spoke to a female astronomer,” Lawrence told Vanity Fair of her character’s bold style selections.
“We kinda decided that Kate is the type to be fierce and ‘notice me, hear me roar, rat-tat-tat’ kind of lady.”
“And the nose rings…one just kind of hangs in; one is a magnet. And many, many times I accidentally inhaled said magnet and had to spit it out in front of Leonardo DiCaprio,” she added.
In the upcoming Netflix film, DiCaprio and Lawrence play astronomers on a press tour to spread the word about an impending comet that will destroy Earth.
Meryl Streep, Jonah Hill, Rob Morgan, Ron Perlman, Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Kid Cudi, Mark Rylance, and Cate Blanchett are among the A-listers in the cast.
“What’s going on with all of our hair? He’s just like a badass with a mullet,” she replied.
According to Variety, Lawrence was paid $25 million for the dark comedy film, while DiCaprio was paid $30 million.
The “Hunger Games” star, who is expecting her first child with husband Cooke Maroney, also spoke about the eye injury she sustained while filming the sci-fi film in Boston, which was reported first in February.
