Prince Harry said and he’s so sure that his late mother, Princess Diana, would feel “very angry and sad” about what he and his wife Meghan Markle went through while they were still serving as senior royals.

“She would feel very angry with how this has panned out and very sad,” the 34-year-old Prince Harry told Oprah Winfrey in his tell-all interview with Markle.
“All she would ever want was for us to be happy,” he added.
Prince Harry also said that the royal family has cut him and his wife Meghan Markle off financially even before they decided to step out of the royal circle.
According to Harry, he and his wife were living off his inheritance from his mom, “Without that, we would not be able to do this,” in reference to leaving the monarchy and starting a private life with their son Archie.
“I think she saw it coming,” he said about his mom Diana, who spoke out about her unfortunate struggles with the royal family and within her marriage to Prince Charles before finally being divorced in 1992.
“I certainly felt her presence throughout this whole process,” Harry said.
Harry also hinted that he could see history repeating itself in how Markle was treated by the press in relation to the experiences of his mom, who was killed in a car accident in Paris in 1997 after being chased by paparazzi.

“I’m just really relieved and happy to be sitting here talking to you with my wife by my side because I can’t begin to imagine what it must have been like for [Diana] going through this process by herself all those years ago because it’s been unbelievably tough for the two of us,” Harry said.
