Travis Barker isn’t stopping flying after avoiding plane for over a decade following his fatal plane crash in 2008, that killed pilots and his pals and left him and someone else with severe burns.
The Blink-182 drummer has done his second flight in one month. This time, Travis Barker jets to Italy for a vacation with his girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian who is working on making sure the plane crash victim overcomes his fear.
According to a TMZ report, Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian spent their Friday on a beach in San Fruttuoso, a small town in Genoa. Since making their relationship Instagram official early this year, the couple have made taking their families out a hallmark of their affair, they seem to be sans children for this particular jaunt.
Travis Barker was snapped boarding a plane with Kourtney Kourtney her mom, Kris Jenner, and Corey Gamble for a group vacation to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, some weeks back. Not too long, the drummer hailed Kourtney on social media for helping him dump his fear of flying.
In the social media update, Travis, 45, shared a photo of he and Kourtney, 42, in front of Kylie Jenner’s private jet, with the caption, “With you anything is possible.” the reality show star played-in with the comment, “Anything and everything with you.”
Travis Barker had refused to fly for years after he and his friend Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein survived the South Carolina crash that killed two pilots, his assistant Chris Baker and security guard Charles.
Earlier this year, Travis Barker, earlier this year spoke to Men’s Health about dealing with his PTSD and survivor’s guilt, which he worked on with months of therapy following the crash.
Speaking about it his said, “I was dark. I couldn’t walk down the street. If I saw a plane [in the sky], I was determined it was going to crash, and I just didn’t want to see it.
“It’s gotten better the further I get away from it. The closer I was to it, it felt like I was closer to the bad stuff than I am to the good stuff.”
