Charles hopes to ascend the throne after his mother Queen Elizabeth II, and as king, he’s determined to trim down the number of major royals in a move to appease his future subjects who he believes do not want to pay for a bloated monarchy.
According to a report from The Daily Mail Saturday, Charles told his son that he will change key documents to stop Archie from inheriting the royal title, which should have been his birthright. Archie is currently seventh in line to the British throne.
This seems not to be a secret anymore as the report stated that “Harry and Meghan were told Archie would never be a Prince, even when Charles became King.” Although the Duke and Duchess of Sussex aren’t finding the decision funny even though they exited their royal duty.
Quitting their royal duties early last year has further marred the relationship between Prince Harry and the members of the royal family.
Prince Charles is planning that when he becomes the King, only heirs to the throne and their immediate families would receive full titles and financial support funded by taxpayers, according to the Mail.
