Khloé Kardashian confesses that putting her double-crossing ex Tristan Thompson on blast made the “Kardashians” premiere more “awkward than needed.”
Khloé and her sisters gathered to kick off Season 1 of her family’s Hulu reality series in April on Thursday’s show, and she didn’t hold back when Thompson appeared on the screen.
When the adulterous NBA star spoke on camera about building a life together, the Good American co-founder yelled, “Liar!”
“I felt as if the whole theater was staring at me,” Khloé Kardashian reflected in a new confessional statement.
“I was just like, ‘This is so awkward.’ Because it’s like, ‘What a crock of s–t. What the f–k? I believed you, and I was listening to you, and I was receiving everything you said. But you’re a f–king liar.’”
Khloé Kardashian shares a 4-year-old daughter True Thompson and a 2-month-old son with Tristan Thompson. The reality star confessed that her heckling at the screening “just came out.”
“I probably made it a lot more awkward than it needed to be. Story of my life,” the Good America co-founder added.
“When you go through things in life, those things can steal so much of your happy moments,” Khloé continued while pointing out that she was proud of herself for attending the event in the first place after Tristan welcomed a baby with another woman just months prior.
“Any red carpet that I’m obligated to go to, I feel like I’m just opening up the floodgates for people to tear you apart. … Already we get judged, critiqued, scrutinized. It’s overwhelming.
“[But] tonight really reminds me that I have to make myself do things. … I don’t want my personal dramas or traumas to take away all the fun that I could be having.”
It was reported earlier this year that Khloé caused drama when visiting Goya Studios in Los Angeles for the “Kardashians” premiere.
