At a reception in Belize on Monday night, Kate Middleton wore her first evening ensemble of the Cambridges’ Caribbean tour, and she packed a punch in the bold colour.
At an event celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, the royal, 40, wowed in a vibrant metallic pink gown by celeb-favourite brand The Vampire’s Wife.

While she appeared slightly overdressed for the outdoor event, especially when compared to a tie-less Prince William, Middleton appeared to be in good spirits as she greeted guests at the reception hosted by Belize’s Governor-General, Froyla Tzalam.

The flutter-sleeved dress, which appears to be a customized version of the brand’s “Light Sleeper” ($2,310) design, stood out among the ancient Mayan ruins at Cahal Pech, where the event was held.
Kate Middleton paired the gown with a repeat pair of Jimmy Choo “Mimi” sandals and the custom O’Nitaa earrings she wore on a tour of Pakistan in 2019. She also added a thoughtful touch to her accessories: a white clutch with an embroidered Mayan design.

This is Kate Middleton’s second time wearing The Vampire’s Wife, a British brand popular with celebrities such as Sienna Miller, Cate Blanchett, Dakota Johnson, and Prince William’s cousin, Princess Beatrice.

While visiting the Emerald Isle in March 2020, the Duchess wore an emerald green cocktail dress made from the same shimmering fabric by the brand.

In Belize, the glittering gown was quite a contrast to Middleton’s earlier attire of the day, when she wore coordinating olive green outfits with Prince William, 39, for some outdoor activities.
