Lady Gaga is the latest celebrity to grace the front and back covers of Vogue Magazine. In a fittingly dramatic shoot by Steven Meisel, the pop phenomenon, 35, fronts the December issue of British Vogue as well as November’s edition of Vogue Italia.

Lady Gaga’s spread was styled by British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful, who said he wanted to dress her in “something fabulous” an accurate description of the Schiaparelli Haute Couture look she wears on the UK glossy’s cover, which was inspired by a “shocking” 1930s perfume bottle from the fashion house’s archives.
The gilded and glamorous gown of the “House of Gucci” star was styled with an electric blue mullet, shimmery violet eye makeup, and a slick of glossy red lipstick, adding even more drama to the equation.

Lady Gaga appears in the issue wearing more high-octane couture, including a colourful patchwork matador jacket adorned with one of Schiaparelli’s now-signature golden nipples and an explosion of pink-and-white tulle ruffles by Tomo Koizumi.
The “Shallow” singer even stripped naked for one sultry shot, posing naked on the floor with a teased brunette bouffant and some of her numerous tattoos on full display.

“Whatever I wear. I will be serving painful Italian glamour from within,” she told the crew at her fitting for the shoot.
