Innersloth has been promising for months that Among Us will be released on Xbox and PlayStation this year. On December 14th, the Mafia-style social deduction game will be released for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Among Us will be included with Xbox Game Pass on consoles, just like it is on PC. Those who own a PlayStation will, however, receive an exclusive Ratchet & Clank cosmetic at a later date. Among Us supports cross-platform play, so you’ll be able to play with friends on PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile.
Innersloth also revealed information about the physical editions of Among Us for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The $30 Crewmate Edition includes the base game and all DLC, as well as a poster of the Skeld map, stickers, and a holographic card.
That version will be released in Europe on December 14, followed by Japan and South Korea two days later, and then the United States, Canada, and Latin America on January 11th.
The Impostor Edition costs $50 and includes the same items as the Crewmate package, plus a purple crewmate plush, an enamel pin, and a lanyard. The $90 Ejected Edition includes even more goodies, such as a steel bookcase, a beanie, and, best of all, a fleece blanket. Both of these editions will be available in the spring of 2022.
Among Us exploded in popularity two years after its release, in 2020, as Twitch streamers and YouTubers began playing it in large numbers. People were also looking for ways to communicate with their friends during COVID-19 lockdowns.

And for many, lying to their friends about what they were doing in the med bay of Among Us fit the bill perfectly. It’ll be available on Xbox and PlayStation just in time for more people to play and argue with their loved ones during the holiday season.
