Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, will attend a Global Citizen event in New York City later this month to discuss the distribution of the coronavirus vaccine to those in need.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will attend Global Citizen Live on September 25 at Central Park’s Great Lawn to discuss the importance of achieving global vaccine equity, Global Citizen announced on Tuesday.

Since COVID-19 vaccines became available, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, who are currently living in California with their son Archie and daughter Diana have been advocating for them.
The Duke of Sussex previously discussed the jabs at Global Citizen’s Vax Live concert in Los Angeles in May.
“The vaccine must be distributed to everyone everywhere. We cannot rest or truly recover until there is fair distribution to every corner of the world. The virus does not respect borders and access to the vaccine cannot be determined by geography,” Harry said at the time.
“They turn compassion into boots on the ground through their Archewell Foundation. They give voice to the voiceless through media production,” chef José Andrés wrote in a short essay about the British couple.

“Hand in hand with nonprofit partners, they take risks to help communities in need offering mental-health support to black women and girls in the US and feeding those affected by natural disasters in India and the Caribbean,” José added while noting that they do all of these just to help those in need.
