Elon Musk is not much concerned about backlash on Twitter… he’s concentrating on pitching “SNL” skits as he asked fans to share their ideas as he prepares to host the show on May 8, after a couple of the show’s stars claimed that he nabbed the show.

Taking it to his official Twitter account, the 49-year-old Tesla boss asked his millions of followers over the weekend, “Throwing out some skit ideas for SNL. What should I do?”
Elon backed his post with three of his own pitches, “Woke James Bond,” “Baby Shark & Shark Tank merge to form Baby Shark Tank,” and “Irony Man – defeats villains using the power of irony.”
There were ideas from his followers, including, “Extraterrestrials found your Tesla Roadster sent to space in 2018 & are trying to figure out what it is,” “You play Chris Hansen on “To Catch a PP loan” with Ross Gerber,” and, “Something about how it is all a simulation.”
One user commented, “You meeting with SNL writers using the same motivational techniques you use with $TSLA engineers. Elon: I need this done tomorrow or you’re fired. SNL Writer: In your dreams a–hole.”
“*some writer pitches idea* Elon pauses ‘You can go, thanks.’ Whom else has an idea? We are optimizing for laughs. Typical audience laugh targets are stagnant at 68%. A good idea is one that gets us to 70-72%,” someone wrote.
Elon’s reaction during the COVID-19 pandemic has been grabbed serious attention online, like when he described the pandemic as “dumb” in March 2020. Plus, two Tesla plant employees reported that they were fired after staying home due to the coronavirus last year even though the SpaceX chief said attendance was not mandatory.
Recently, Elon Musk noted that a ‘bunch of people will probably die’ during his planned Mars mission.
SNL stars, including Bowen Yang, were upset after it was announced that Elon Musk was going to host the show. However, a source disclosed that the show boss Lorne Michaels would not force any cast member to work with Elon if they don’t want to.

“Speaking historically, if a cast member has been that unhappy, they don’t have to do it. Michaels won’t ever make them do anything they don’t want to do,” the source said. For now, no cast members have pulled out of working on the upcoming show with Elon.
