Meghan Markle was spotted holding her son Archie with her heavy pregnancy on Wednesday after husband Prince Harry arrived home in California from the UK after attending his grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral.
The Duchess of Sussex was actually propping her 1-year-old son up on her growing baby bump as she also carried his space-themed lunch box with her other arm. There was no helper around her while she was photographed.
Meghan hit the road looking casual in blue jeans, a black T-shirt, an army green utility jacket, pointed-toe nude flats and a black face mask which made it easier for her to hold the child and also carried the lunch box at the same time.
Her son, Archie wore a black beanie, a grey sweatshirt, rolled jeans, white Velcro sneakers and a green backpack as he leaned on his mom while they were snapped on motion a day after Harry arrived in Los Angeles following Philip’s funeral.
Prince Harry decided to return to his family instead of staying back to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s 95th birthday, which was on Wednesday, only a day after he left.
Meghan Markle did not join Harry in his UK trip to Prince Philip’s funeral as her doctor did not approve her request, even though she keen to go. But she and Harry mourn the Duke of Edinburgh with a joint statement on their website.
“Thank you for your service… You will be greatly missed,” the couple wrote on the website for their nonprofit, Archewell Foundation.
Meghan and Harry are announced early this year that they are expecting their second child, a baby girl.
