President Donald Trump could seal a multimillion-dollar book deal after his administration but he may not be the only one in the White House preparing to cash in with a book deal, first lady Melania Trump is ready.
Some close sources to the first family revealed that to Page Six that Trump’swife, Melania has been holding meetings about writing a memoir reflecting her time as first lady, “Melania is in meetings to write her White House memoir. And it would be her money, a chance for her to earn on her own.
“I’m told her husband is encouraging her to pen the book. She’s not done, or going as quietly as you might expect.” Plus, “in the wake of Stephanie Winston Wolkoff’s betrayal, in both print and on secret tapes, Melania’s story could be worth big money”.
Wolkoff who was one time Melania’s best friend and adviser published the tell-all “Melania and Me” in September. The first lady blasted the author in an essay last month that was published on the White House Web site, describing her as a “dishonest opportunist” who “clung” to her for fame.
Wolkoff didn’t stop but released embarrassing tapes of her conversations with Melania. But Melania hit back at her, saying that the recordings were “out of context,” and that the book was “idle gossip trying to distort my character.”
The Justice Department then announced it was suing Wolkoff for violating a nondisclosure agreement with the book she published.
A memoir from Melania could correct some wrong impressions Wolkoff created with her book and also throw more light on her notable White House episodes, like the infamous “I really don’t care, do u?” jacket that she wore in 2018, enduring a coronavirus infection and more.
The book business surrounding Trump’s family has been booming. It was also reported that Trump relative Mary L. Trump is already shopping a follow-up to her best-selling tell-all, “Too Much and Never Enough,”.
