Chadwick Boseman’s wife has been named as the administrator of his estate according to her request after the “Black Panther” lead actor died in August 2020.
Taylor Simone Ledward had filed a probate case in October, after noticing that the “Black Panther” star passed away without a will stating who should benefit his belongings. She asked a judge to name her administrator of Boseman’s estate with limited authority only.

Then on Thursday, November 19, the judge granted Ledward’s request and named her the administrator according to a report by Page Six.
It was also disclosed that the judge ordered bond in the value of $939,000, and Ledward has to file a petition for final distribution no later than February 22, 2022. Meanwhile, in her first filing, Ledward listed the estimated value of the actor’s estate as $938,500.
Boseman died leaving behind his parents, Leroy and Carolyn Boseman, and his wife, Ledward. But his widow didn’t list any other family member in her probate filing.
Chadwick Boseman, 43, died on August 28 after battling with colon cancer for long.
Boseman and Ledward secretly got married after dating for a long time before his death.
