According to data released recently, there have been 2,036,755 confirmed cases in France, and there was also an unparalleled number of 33,500 hospitalized Covid-19 patients as of Tuesday.

However, the Director-General of Health reported 437 new deaths in hospitals since yesterday, bringing the current toll of the coronavirus death in France to 46,273. The number of patients with coronavirus in intensive care is currently at 4,854.

This is to say France has “more than 8,000 intensive care patients”.
