Rapper Lil Wayne risks facing up to ten years in prison if convicted this time.
Wayne, 38, was slammed one-count charge of possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon, following a TMZ report on Tuesday. The rapper was previously convicted of a felony gun charge in 2009 during which time he served twelve months behind bars for the crime.

This time, Lil Wayne could rock up to ten years in prison if convicted on the new charge, which comes from a December 2019 incident where federal agents searched his plane and found a gun in his bag.
The officials reportedly found a gold-plated .45 calibre handgun, along with ecstasy, heroin and marijuana, inside his handbag in the plane where he was. The rapper is due in court next month.
